Most file-sharing tools let go of your files the moment you hit send. LOCKD is our own product: send files up to 5GB with expiry dates, passwords and watermarks — and get client feedback pinned to the work itself.
The problem
Where they started.
File sharing sounds like a solved problem. It isn't. The free tools cap your file sizes and give up control the second the link goes out — no expiry you choose, no passwords, no idea who downloaded what. The enterprise ones bury you in setup. Freelancers and studios sending big work-in-progress files sit stuck in the middle.
LOCKD is the product we built for that gap — and for ourselves. It's the clearest way to show how we build when it's our own name over the door.
What we built
File sharing where the sender stays in charge — of size, time and access.
Files up to 5GB, sent without drama
A 4GB video uploads smoothly with a progress bar that tells the truth, and the person on the other end just clicks a link — no account, no app, no “file too large.”
Every link has rules
Every transfer expires on a date you set. Add a password, cap the number of downloads, and when it's done, it's done — files are properly gone, not lingering on a server forever.
Watermarks for work-in-progress
Sharing a cut before the invoice is paid? Images and videos can be watermarked automatically on the way through — clients see the work, and the final files stay yours until you say so.
Feedback on the work itself
Clients preview photos, video, audio and PDFs in the browser and leave comments pinned to the exact moment — “at 2:34, the transition feels abrupt.” No more feedback scattered across three email threads.
