Case study · Luxury jeweller · London

From the shop counter to selling everywhere.

A Jewellers had a brilliant shop, expert staff and 5,000 watches and pieces of jewellery — and no website at all. Now their whole catalogue is online, on eBay and on Amazon, all run from one place.

The problem

Where they started.

A Jewellers is one of London's leading luxury jewellers — high-end watches, bespoke pieces, customers who travel to visit the shop. But if you couldn't walk through the door, you couldn't buy from them. There was no website, and no way to sell beyond the shop floor.

The catalogue was the other problem. Five thousand watches and pieces of jewellery, each with its own details — brand, reference, condition, stones, sizing — existed only in-store. Typing all of that into a website by hand was never going to happen.

What we built

One online store, three places selling — all managed from a single place.

A proper online store they own

A custom-designed Shopify store built around how they actually sell: browse the watch collection, or start a conversation about a bespoke commission. It looks and feels as premium as the shop floor.

The whole catalogue online — without the typing

We loaded all 5,000 products for them, with every detail in place. Price changes and stock updates flow through the same route, so keeping the store up to date isn't a job.

Selling on eBay and Amazon too

Their products are listed on both marketplaces, and stock stays in sync everywhere. When a watch sells in the shop, it comes off eBay and Amazon automatically — they never sell the same piece twice.

Emails and postage that run themselves

Abandoned-basket reminders, dispatch and delivery updates tied to Royal Mail tracking, a care guide and review request after delivery. Nobody at the shop sends any of it by hand.

What it changed

The shop still does what it's always done. The website does everything else.

  • The store sells 24/7 — customers no longer need to be in London to buy.
  • One place to manage products; three places selling them.
  • Bespoke enquiries land in the jeweller's inbox with the exact piece the customer was looking at.
  • Staff can pull up any product's full details on a phone at the counter.
  • Live today at ajewellers.com.
